My boy
Is smiling;
Grinning from ear to ear.
He’s got one dimple on his right cheek
And it just
Lights me up inside to
See me reflected in eyes
That bare even a mere resemblance to mine.
To call something your own
That breathes outside of your lines-
It’s heartbreaking
Ad beautiful
And like being drunk
On the finest wine.
I’d love to read your poems but they are dark brown on black, on my computer, and so I can barely see them. Any chance you could change your theme or at least the colours to make them more legible? Thanks.

I have a boy. He’s 14 now. We had such a strong bond until around age 13.5. Puberty. Now he’s all about his dad. I miss my little boy!!!
